Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Event Cancellations
Unfortunately, due to the accelerating pace and breadth of the spread of the coronavirus, Global Food Forums has made the very tough decision to cancel the 2020 Sweetener Systems Conference (March 24) and the 2020 Clean Label Conference (March 25-26), Itasca, Ill, nor the 2020 Protein Trends & Technologies Seminar, which has been postponed until May 25-26, 2021, Chicago Area.
Our primary concern has always been the health and safety of our attendees and speakers. Given the recent explosion of travel and meeting restrictions, university closures, heightened warnings by government officials, rapid increase in the number of infections and the extremely contagious nature of this virus, Global Food Forums cannot guarantee the safety of its loyal attendees.A separate email with more details is being sent to our attendees and speakers.If you have any questions, please contact Jenny at Jenny@globalfoodforums.com or 1-847-226-2181.

The two-day Protein Trends & Technologies Seminar programs provide information on the following topics.


Pre-Conference Program: Protein Business Strategies
Protein ingredient supply chains and marketplaces are some of the most dynamic and important elements of the food industry. Geopolitical factors, consumer attitudes and trends, new and disruptive food and information technologies are just some of the factors that impact the supply, demand and price of protein ingredients.
Program speakers will provide useful data and analysis on factors impacting the protein ingredient arena today and into the future. Such information is highly beneficial to anyone whose business decisions are influenced by changes in the protein ingredient landscape.


Technical Program: Formulating with Proteins
Non-ingredient supplier affiliated speakers provide practical advice on how to work with solution-providing protein ingredients. Topics include formulation and production factors impacting protein quality and label claims, expectations and nutritional science, real world insights into tackling protein issues, and trends in new protein products and consumer attitudes.

Our Clean Label Conferences, with the tagline “Sophisticated Solutions for Simplified Products,” provide insights and answers to the challenges of developing products with simple, consumer- and export-friendly labels. Applied food science helps explains the use of emerging and multi-functional natural ingredient systems. Speakers deliver practical technical advice, as well as information on consumer attitudes, product trends and regulatory considerations. Presentations also deliver insights into evolving consumer trends such as desire for increased transparency, and sustainability.


The one day Sweetener Systems Conference provides information on the following topics.

Sweetener Systems Conferences are designed for technologists involved in product formulations. Core subject matter are the properties and interactions of ingredients impacting sweetness perception and performance of finished products.
