Jon Hopkinson, Ph.D., has spent some 40 years in the food industry as a food technologist. His most recent position was as a Senior Applications Scientist—Frozen Desserts at Dupont/Danisco. He previously held technical positions at Universal Preservation Technologies Inc. and Dairylea Cooperative, Inc. Jon has a Ph.D. in Food Science from Cornell University and a BS in Biology from the University of Maine.
