In his role as Consumer Health Company Analyst, Chris monitors financial and brokerage reports; company disclosures and industry developments to track the performance of the largest, most dynamic players in the Consumer Health arena.

His work is a resource and point of comparison for the company’s expansive network of in-country analysts.  Additionally, this information serves as a guideline for the global, regional and country-level performance of Consumer Health companies. Chris’ expertise focuses on the vitamins and other dietary supplements and sports nutrition categories of Consumer Health and has become Euromonitor’s specialist in these product areas.

Additional responsibilities involve the publication of Euromonitor’s industry-leading global company reports, which involve corporate strategies within the Consumer Health system as well as writing Consumer Health market insight and trend monitoring articles for Euromonitor.com.

Chris Schmidt graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University. Other awards include a DAAD Undergraduate Grant and a Congress-Bundestag Scholarship. He studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität.
