In May 2012, we launched Global Food Forums®, Inc. with an abundance of entrepreneurial energy….and a dash of apprehension.
Our vision was to develop a family of in-person, product development conferences for the food, beverage and nutritional products market. Each event is tied to a significant long-term, global, consumer and industry trend in which applied food science would need to play a vital role.
We believe applied and useful food science is the keystone of our business. The events’ technical programs provide R&D and other food scientists with practical and impartial formulation advice, emerging ingredient technologies, regulatory updates along with key consumer trend insights.
Our “core customer” is the food scientist. Our decisions are driven by how our actions impact the R&D attendee community. By delivering a high-quality event that draws a high ratio of R&D attendees, the interests of the supplier community are also best served.
We believe in the power of in-person exchanges. We know that in a world dominated by digital communications, the key to true human innovation and collaboration happens when people meet face-to-face.
Our start-up now includes three successful conferences. They are the Clean Label Conference, they Protein Trends & Technologies Seminar and the Sweetener Systems Conference. To date these events have attracted over 2,500 attendees from VP and Director level R&D to bench-level food scientists.
And, Global Food Forums’ website has passed an impressive milestone of 750,000-page views. The site offers product developers free downloads of over 175 technical documents, located in our primary Store as well as stores on each individual archived event site.
We hope that you’ll decide to attend one of our product development events. When you do, please stop by and say “Hi!” In the meantime, we invite you to investigate our product development offerings.
