Our in-person product development and business strategy conferences have been designed to provide you with valuable resources and data.
The critical value of in-person was acknowledged by one digital pioneer:
“There’s a temptation in our networked age to think that ideas can be developed by email and iChat. That’s crazy. Creativity comes from spontaneous meetings, from random discussions. You run into someone, you ask what they’re doing, you say ‘wow,’ and soon you’re cooking up all sorts of ideas.”–Apple, Inc.’s Steve Jobs
Attendance provides unique benefits. For individuals, the educational aspect is a wise investment in careers through obtaining difficult to obtain technical and trend information, which enables them to more efficiently perform their work. Companies that invest in their employees’ education net a more skilled workforce and motivated employees. And, the invaluable peer-to-peer networking and exchange of ideas with industry experts and peers cannot be replicated in an online environment.

Our Clean Label Conferences (which have the tagline “Sophisticated Solutions for Simplified Products”), provide insights and answers to the challenges of developing products with simple, consumer- and export-friendly labels. Core to the conferences are speakers presenting the food science behind the use of emerging and multi-functional natural ingredient systems. Speakers deliver critical insights and hands-on technical advice on consumer attitudes, product trends and regulatory considerations.
The Protein Trends & Technologies Seminars focus on the development of protein-enhanced foods, beverages and nutritional supplements. Core to the events are speakers presenting impartial information on protein food science, consumer and product trends, emerging nutritional benefits and regulatory issues.
Starting in 2014, the Seminar was expanded to two days: A one day Pre-conference: Business Strategies on the protein ingredient marketplace and a one day Technology Program: Formulating with Proteins. Each provides information for distinctly different business needs and attendees can register for either day alone or for both for a cost savings.
The Sweetener Systems Trends & Technologies Conference is designed for technologists involved in product formulations. The program will provide insights and actionable information on hot topics related to sweeteners. Examples of sessions include updates on consumer attitudes, formulating for sugar reduction, emerging technologies, nutritional aspects, sensory, regulatory and analytical issues. Core to the event are the properties and interactions of a range of ingredients that impact the sweetness perception and performance of finished products.
The Weight Management Technologies Seminar was only held in 2014. It provided insights to the challenges of developing weight management products. Core to the conference were technical presentations on the practical use of sweetener, starch, fiber, gum and protein ingredient systems to help formulate weight management products.
